I work for Holiday Inn and booked a hotel at employee rate downtown Tulsa for this weekend. Just had a friend cancel on the room and decided I would throw it out there for anyone looking to travel cheap. It is $39 a night plus tax at the Holiday Inn on W 7th St.

I know I'm a little early but I just wanted to say happy Hanson day to all the fans out there. I wish I was at the MOE event cause I'm betting it's a lot of fun. Enjoy it for me those of you who are!
No Sleep for Banditos is coming and I am soooo excited after listening to the preview on hanson.net. I'm also very excited about the other upcoming events for this year. I wish I could go Back to the Island in January. Anyone going?
Anyway, feeling nostalgic and thinking about the day when I first heard Mmmbop on the radio and was thinking..."Oh I like that!" Little did everyone know, including me, how great an effect on my life that day would have.
To those of you who haven't yet, I'd recommend joining the Hanson Street Team. Be on the front lines of promoting for your favorite band. Alone, we are fansons. Together, we are mighty!

Hey guys, MTV's Battle of the Boy Bands is on, and Hanson are currently up against the Jonas Brothers (go figure).
This morning we were neck and neck, but tonight we're slowly slipping behind and I don't know about you guys, but I'd really like to blow the Jo Bros out of the water.
Wanna vote? Here is a direct link to the poll. Vote, and vote some more, but be careful you don't hit the "cool down" session or you'll be blocked from voting for two hours. (A safe bet is to vote about 30 times, then stop for 3 minutes, and then vote 30 more times.)

Hey y'all..long time reader/no poster, male Hanson fan here. I heard a very interesting story recently and was wondering if some of you long time fansons could confirm.
I live in New Zealand and work at a library. I got into a conversation the other day with a coworker about Hanson. She told me this amazing story, that was originally told to her by a girl who used to work with us. So this girl was a huge Hanson fan back in the day, fan club member etc etc. Sometime, I assume between 97-99, she flew over to the US (dunno where tho) for a Hanson concert and stayed with these insanely rich girls she knew off the forums. At the concert she met Hanson etc etc, BUT was also introduced to these twin girls and their dad.
Who was their dad? None other than GEORGE W BUSH. The girls she stayed with were going on about how he was going to be their next president.
So did anyone else meet Jenna and Barbara Bush back in the good ole late nineties? Were they well known as Hanson fans?

So I made a post a couple weeks ago looking for Zaylor rps, and I'm loving the ones I'm doing, but I wanted to do some straight rps in addition to my others. I'm really missing the This Time Around era and would LOVE some rps based off that era. The girl can be anyone, not necessarily Kate or Marion but I'd consider either of them as well as a random made up girl.

I've decided to take on the 30 day meme, as well. I posted this in my journal last night, but forgot to cross post it here. I'll post my day two later tonight.
Day 1- Favorite song off of Middle of Nowhere?
If you would have asked me 15 years ago it would have been different (I Will Come To You), or if you'd asked me what song I yearn the most to hear at a concert, it'd be different (Man From Milwaukee), but in this very moment, the song I love the most from Middle of nowhere is....
Madeline! I had to choose this clip, too, because this was the first time I ever saw them on TV, and this was really when I became a fan. I love this one because it's fun and it's upbeat and it's a classic tale of puppy love, pretending to be something more. And I think it's adorable.
